We seek a visionary Senior Futurist Strategist to lead our 2026 Vision Lab, where you'll shape tomorrow's innovations today. This role blends cutting-edge research, strategic foresight, and cross-functional leadership to solve humanity's most complex challenges. Work alongside Nobel laureates, industry disruptors, and AI pioneers in our state-of-the-art facility overlooking the Bay Bridge.

Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary research teams to identify emerging tech trends with 5-10 year impact horizons
- Develop and publish quarterly 'Futurescape' reports for C-suite clients across Fortune 500 companies
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical, climate, and AI disruption scenarios
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate foresight into R&D roadmaps
- Present at global forums including Davos and Web Summit to influence industry discourse
- Mentor junior futurists through our 'Horizon Scanning' apprenticeship program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Cognitive Science with 8+ years applied experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work (books, whitepapers, patents)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuro-interfaces
- Proven ability to translate complex scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience advising governments on technology policy (UN/WEF engagement preferred)
