Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps and innovation initiatives
- Produce high-impact strategic reports and executive presentations on emerging technologies and market disruptions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry think tanks to accelerate future-readiness
- Drive adoption of foresight methodologies across departments using quantitative and qualitative research tools
- Mentor a team of futurists and analysts while fostering a culture of strategic curiosity and experimentation
- Represent FutureWorks at global forums on future trends, technology ethics, and sustainable development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future planning with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in futures research methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning, weak signal detection)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis software
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications on future trends
- Experience leading global teams and managing cross-cultural stakeholder ecosystems
