Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop and maintain the organization's 2026 strategic foresight framework
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation
- Produce trend reports and white papers on future-of-work, AI ethics, and sustainable innovation
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions addressing 2026 market needs
- Build cross-functional coalitions to embed foresight into product roadmaps
- Represent FuturePulse at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or societal transformation
- Expertise in trend analysis tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Proven ability to translate foresight into executable business strategies
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Experience with AI governance frameworks and ethical tech development
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex scenarios
