InnovateFuture Inc. is seeking a visionary Senior Futurist Strategist to lead our efforts in anticipating and shaping the future of technology and society. As we approach 2026 and beyond, this role is critical in identifying emerging trends, conducting foresight research, and developing strategic initiatives that position our company at the forefront of innovation. You will work with cross-functional teams to integrate future insights into product development, business strategy, and organizational planning.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, social shifts, and global trends to forecast future scenarios and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive foresight framework for the company, including horizon scanning and trend analysis.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to translate future insights into actionable strategic plans.
- Lead workshops and facilitate discussions with stakeholders to explore future possibilities and challenges.
- Produce high-impact reports, presentations, and white papers on future trends and strategic implications.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives on long-term organizational goals.
- Build and maintain a network of external futurists, technologists, and thought leaders.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or foresight work.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies in a corporate or startup environment.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate future scenarios to diverse audiences.
- Experience with foresight methodologies such as horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis.
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their potential societal impacts.
