Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscape
- Develop and maintain a strategic foresight framework with quarterly scenario planning updates
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align product roadmaps with future market opportunities
- Author thought leadership content and executive briefings on emerging futures
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Translate foresight insights into R&D priorities and product innovation pipelines
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech strategy roles
- Proven experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation journals
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on strategic adaptation to future trends
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFSD, CIPM)
