Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts affecting 2026-2030 markets
- Develop evidence-based future scenarios using quantitative modeling, qualitative ethnography, and expert networks
- Design strategic frameworks for organizations to navigate uncertainty and build adaptive capabilities
- Present executive briefings and publish thought leadership in top-tier industry publications
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development and corporate strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with global innovation ecosystems, startups, and research institutions
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and environmental signals impacting long-term business resilience
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in technology forecasting, innovation strategy, or consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic risk assessment
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: AGI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic recommendations
- Experience with futures research methodologies: Delphi, cross-impact analysis, causal layered analysis
- Global perspective with multicultural experience preferred
