Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 global innovation strategy aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, AI)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities/threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members using data-driven narratives
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and industry disruptors
- Oversee the incubation of moonshot projects with $50M+ R&D budgets
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies protecting our future market positions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or relevant STEM field
- Proven track record of launching commercially successful future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology roadmapping, and disruption analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, nanotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience managing $10M+ innovation budgets and cross-geographical teams
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent strategic foresight credential
