Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential through 2026
- Develop and maintain the company's 5-year innovation roadmap aligning with market disruptions
- Architect strategic frameworks for adoption of quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and guide R&D investment priorities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to accelerate breakthroughs
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of human-machine symbiosis
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, bio-integration, or spatial computing
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial applications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Published author or keynote speaker at global tech conferences
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact of future-oriented initiatives
