Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough opportunities for 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and market shifts
- Facilitate design thinking workshops with C-suite executives and external partners
- Manage a $15M innovation portfolio and guide prototype development from concept to launch
- Present future scenarios to board members and investors quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation culture
- Collaborate with R&D teams to commercialize emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or tech foresight
- Proven track record of launching market-disrupting products/services
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, bio-convergence)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in innovation journals
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
