Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends, technologies, and disruptors relevant to 2026+ landscape
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive futures intelligence database with quarterly trend briefings
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops for executive teams to explore future scenarios
- Create strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing products and services
- Present foresight insights to investors, board members, and industry conferences
- Build an external network of futurists, academic researchers, and tech pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts with documented case studies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
