Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology foresight frameworks including AI ethics, quantum computing integration, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite stakeholders on disruptive market shifts
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate emerging tech solutions (e.g., neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Analyze global tech policy/regulatory impacts on innovation roadmaps
- Build and manage an innovation ecosystem with academic, startup, and corporate partners
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors with quantified ROI projections
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends (IEEE, Harvard Business Review)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI governance, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Research Methods (e.g., from World Futures Society)
