Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic indicators to forecast 2026+ industry landscapes
- Develop evidence-based strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Present foresight insights to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare organizations for volatile futures
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech disruptions (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data analysis and trend interpretation skills with quantitative/qualitative methods
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE)
- Experience presenting complex concepts to C-level executives and boards
- Published thought leadership in futures/innovation domains
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-driven initiatives
