Responsibilities
- Develop and execute horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+
- Design scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making across 5 strategic verticals
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Author forward-looking thought leadership published in top-tier industry journals
- Establish and maintain partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and global research institutes
- Mentor junior futurists and oversee foresight analytics infrastructure
Qualifications
- 10+ years in futurism, strategic foresight, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent technical discipline (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in AI/ML, biotech, or climate tech convergence scenarios
- Published author or keynote speaker at global innovation forums
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, STEEP analysis)
- Ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders
