Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026 Project roadmaps for AI governance frameworks and next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Collaborate with policy advisors to shape ethical guidelines for autonomous systems and biometric integration
- Present strategic futures scenarios to C-suite executives and external stakeholders including UN Technology Innovation Labs
- Manage R&D budgets exceeding $5M for prototyping quantum-resistant encryption and neural interfaces
- Author thought leadership publications cited by World Economic Forum and IEEE
- Mentor junior futurists in futures forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Cognitive Science with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (3+ exits or patents)
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Proficiency in futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
- Experience securing federal grants for quantum computing or neurotech initiatives
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology adoption cycles in regulated industries
