Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends and market signals to forecast 2026+ industry transformations
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech)
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives across 15+ emerging technology verticals
- Design and execute scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify 2026-era investment opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists and establish cross-departmental foresight protocols
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of successfully predicting market shifts (provide 3+ case studies)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives
