Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight framework, identifying emerging trends in AI, biotech, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with C-suite executives from 15+ partner organizations
- Produce annual 'Horizon Report' with 3-year predictive models for global markets
- Design and launch incubation programs for breakthrough technologies (quantum, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Represent the company at Davos, TED, and World Economic Forum summits
- Mentor a team of 8 futurists and PhD researchers
- Secure $5M+ annually in innovation grants from NSF, EU Horizon, and private foundations
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant STEM field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of published trend analysis with industry-wide impact (e.g., Gartner, Forrester)
- Deep expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Experience securing >$3M in innovation funding from government/private sources
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio of 5+ major innovations brought to market through foresight leadership
- Fluency in English with additional language proficiency (Mandarin, Arabic, or German preferred)
