Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives to identify disruptive opportunities
- Produce white papers and thought leadership on emerging societal-technology intersections
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for prototype development and pilot programs
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences (Davos, Web Summit)
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary foresight methodology
- Partner with product teams to translate future visions into market-ready solutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on AI ethics, climate tech, or neurotechnology trends
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis
- Proficiency with futures modeling tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Experience scaling technology products from concept to market
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-impacting projects
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
