Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, trends, and disruptions that will impact the industry by 2026 and beyond.
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks and methodologies to assess future scenarios and their implications.
- Produce high-quality research reports, white papers, and presentations on future trends and strategic opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate foresight insights into product development, business strategy, and innovation processes.
- Build and maintain a network of external experts, thought leaders, and partners to enhance foresight capabilities.
- Advise senior leadership on long-term strategic decisions and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead workshops and training sessions to build organizational foresight capabilities.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation management, or a related role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing foresight methodologies and delivering actionable insights.
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.) and their potential societal and economic impacts.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong network within the futurist, innovation, and technology communities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team.
