Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on disruptive technologies
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports quantifying societal and economic impacts
- Design AI-powered forecasting models for market volatility and innovation adoption
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurist conferences and policy summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight knowledge base
- Partner with R&D to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Published research on emerging technologies or societal megatrends
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend mapping
- Proficiency in AI forecasting tools and data visualization platforms
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term strategy
- Deep knowledge of 2026 tech landscape (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills
