Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ technology horizons
- Lead scenario planning workshops for emerging domains (AI ethics, biotechnology convergence, climate tech)
- Produce trend reports and predictive models for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to validate future-viability of innovation pipelines
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of translating future insights into actionable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis
- Published thought leadership on technology or societal transformation
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Kumu, Causal Mapping)
- Demonstrated ability to influence C-level executives and drive change
