What You'll Experience:
- Lead horizon-scanning projects across biotech, AI ethics, and space commercialization
- Present findings to C-suite executives and government innovation councils

Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AI domains
- Produce quarterly innovation whitepapers for Fortune 500 partners
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Manage a $2M annual innovation budget with agile resource allocation
- Represent Nexus Horizons at global innovation summits (Davos, Web Summit)
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight academy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Harvard Business Review, Nature Futures)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, neurotech, or climate tech
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of implementing tech roadblocks with Fortune 100 companies
- Fluency in futures methodologies: Delphi, STEEP analysis, and cross-impact matrices
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (SBIR, NSF)
