Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Author high-impact trend reports and thought leadership content for industry publications
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Advise leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in quantum computing, neurotech, and climate resilience
- Design and implement foresight metrics to track long-term strategic alignment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience leading cross-organizational innovation initiatives at scale
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight domains
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
