Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ market evolution and technology adoption curves
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders to prepare for disruptive future states
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their socioeconomic implications
- Author quarterly Horizon Reports synthesifying global trends into competitive intelligence
- Design and manage innovation incubators for next-generation business models
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, keynotes, and industry panels
- Mentor junior futurists while cultivating an ecosystem of external futurist partners
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, or equivalent certification (CFP preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year future-focused roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their disruptive potential
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
