- Develop and publish quarterly '2026 Horizon Reports' analyzing emerging tech trends
- Lead scenario planning workshops with product and engineering teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Design ethical frameworks for next-generation AI and automation systems
- Present findings to board members and external stakeholders
- Identify $100M+ market opportunities in emerging sectors
- Mentor junior futurists and build the company's foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech trends
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Track record of implementing foresight into commercial products
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (ACF or similar)
