Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger with 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with payroll processing, tax preparation (1099s and W-2s), and year-end audits.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of verifiable experience in full-charge bookkeeping or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
