Responsibilities
- Lead complex financial modeling and forecasting for M&A transactions and strategic initiatives
- Analyze market trends to identify investment opportunities worth $10M+
- Develop executive-ready financial reports and dashboards using Power BI and advanced Excel
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to optimize capital allocation strategies
- Conduct due diligence for private equity and venture capital investments
- Mentor junior analysts while maintaining ownership of high-stakes projects
- Present findings to investment committees with data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in investment banking or private equity
- CFA or MBA with finance concentration strongly preferred
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, M&A)
- Advanced Excel skills (VBA, macros, Power Query) and Power BI expertise
- Proven track record of analyzing $5M+ transactions
- Strong SQL and data visualization capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Active NOLA residency or willingness to relocate
