Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts to identify trends and variances.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles for key business units.
- Reporting: Prepare complex monthly and quarterly financial reports, including P&L analysis, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve data integrity across the organization.
- Strategic Support: Partner with department heads to provide strategic recommendations based on financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting adheres to GAAP standards and internal control procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into clear, actionable business insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
