Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgets for various business units.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Develop complex financial models to support capital budgeting, project evaluations, and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor project costs and ensure financial targets are met.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Streamline financial processes and implement best practices for cost control and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role within the Energy, Oil & Gas, or Construction industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and financial modeling.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) is highly desirable.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CFA designation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
