Responsibilities
- Design and maintain sophisticated financial models for portfolio valuation, scenario analysis, and capital deployment strategies
- Lead monthly close processes including variance analysis, journal entries, and reconciliations for 15+ portfolio companies
- Develop ad-hoc financial reports for executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Collaborate with portfolio CFOs to implement KPI dashboards and performance metrics
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to inform investment thesis refinement
- Present financial findings to executive leadership with data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- 5+ years in financial analysis with VC, PE, or high-growth tech experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, M&A) with Excel mastery
- CFA or MBA preferred; CPA required
- Expertise in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex data to non-finance audiences
- Proven experience managing cross-functional projects in matrix organizations
- Deep understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
