Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance metrics and prepare comprehensive variance reports for executive stakeholders
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for budget forecasting and scenario analysis
- Lead cross-functional projects to optimize cost structures and improve operational efficiency
- Present financial insights through executive dashboards and PowerPoint presentations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations in all financial reporting
- Mentor junior analysts and automate reporting processes using advanced Excel and BI tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in energy or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query)
- Experience with financial systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into executive-level recommendations
- Strong project management skills with cross-departmental collaboration experience
- Professional certification (CMA, CPA) or active pursuit thereof
