Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic planning
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with detailed commentary
- Analyze operational performance metrics and identify cost optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with department heads to create and monitor departmental budgets
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses for M&A activities and investment opportunities
- Lead financial aspects of special projects including pricing strategies and market expansion
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Mentor junior analysts and improve financial reporting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, pivot tables, complex functions)
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities to present complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in remote work environments with minimal supervision
