Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for portfolio valuation and risk assessment
- Analyze market trends and economic indicators to inform strategic investment decisions
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for senior leadership and board members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize capital allocation and resource planning
- Lead quarterly financial forecasting processes and variance analysis
- Identify process improvement opportunities through advanced data analytics
- Mentor junior analysts while ensuring compliance with SOX and SEC regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in investment banking or asset management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros) and financial modeling
- Expertise in SQL, Power BI, or other data visualization platforms
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting requirements
- Proven ability to synthesize complex financial data into executive-ready insights
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- FINRA Series 7/63 or willingness to obtain within 90 days
