Responsibilities
- Lead complex financial modeling and forecasting initiatives using advanced Excel techniques and proprietary software
- Analyze market trends and competitor performance to drive strategic investment decisions
- Develop comprehensive financial reports for executive stakeholders and board presentations
- Optimize budget allocation processes through variance analysis and cost-benefit modeling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial insights into operational planning
- Maintain compliance with SOX regulations and internal financial controls
- Mentor junior analysts and champion continuous improvement in financial processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or investment finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, Power Query, complex modeling)
- Expertise in financial software (Bloomberg, Tableau, SAP) and database querying (SQL)
- CFA or CPA certification strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success in presenting complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with M&A analysis and valuation methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
