Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and budgeting processes
- Analyze variance reports and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare executive-level financial presentations and dashboards for senior leadership
- Lead month-end and quarter-end closing activities with meticulous attention to detail
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing and investment strategies
- Streamline financial reporting processes using automation and advanced Excel techniques
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on complex financial methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or investment settings
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query) and financial modeling
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated expertise in variance analysis, forecasting, and budget management
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex data into strategic narratives
