Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain complex financial models to project revenue, expenses, and profitability for key business initiatives.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct rigorous variance analysis on monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for optimization.
- Strategic Reporting: Prepare executive-level presentations and detailed reports that clearly communicate financial performance and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Streamline financial reporting processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the finance department.
- Market Research: Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and economic indicators to provide actionable insights for business strategy.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial analyses adhere to internal controls and relevant regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros), SQL, and financial modeling software (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, Tableau).
- Certifications: CPA, CFA, or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into clear, actionable business intelligence.
- Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-financial audiences.
