Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual results and financial plans.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and research to support new business initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and SQL.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
