Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow scenarios
- Analyze variance reports and KPIs to identify trends and recommend strategic adjustments
- Prepare executive-level presentations translating complex financial data into actionable business insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform pricing strategies and market positioning
- Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Maintain compliance with SOX regulations and internal control protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive financial analysis experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas) and financial modeling
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Strong SQL or Python skills for data extraction and analysis
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Proven track record of driving process improvements in financial reporting
