Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for multi-entity portfolios
- Develop detailed variance reports and budget forecasting models
- Collaborate with tax teams on quarterly compliance filings
- Streamline accounting workflows using QuickBooks and SAP systems
- Mentor junior accountants on technical best practices
- Present financial insights to C-suite executives and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VBA automation
- QuickBooks Enterprise and SAP implementation experience
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Proven track record in process improvement initiatives
