Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance explanations
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and account analysis
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for multiple entities
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct detailed financial audits and provide process improvement recommendations
- Maintain accurate financial records using NetSuite and QuickBooks platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite/QuickBooks)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities to present complex financial concepts clearly
- Proven experience managing month-end closing processes independently
- Remote work experience and self-discipline to meet deadlines autonomously
