Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with precision and timeliness
- Manage and reconcile multi-entity accounts across diverse industries
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with audit teams and provide supporting documentation
- Mentor junior accountants on technical accounting standards
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, FASB, and multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven experience with audit preparation and regulatory reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
