Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Oversee general ledger operations and ensure accurate month-end close procedures
- Lead audit coordination processes and manage external auditor relationships
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in complex financial reporting and month-end close processes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
