Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and implement robust internal controls for financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Manage external audit relationships and coordinate regulatory reporting
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and financial modeling
- Proven experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
