Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage complex tax reporting requirements and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure internal controls are maintained and financial policies are updated
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive stakeholders
