Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis and risk assessment for commercial borrowers
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signals of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic indicators affecting credit markets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external credit bureaus and financial institutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, Bloomberg)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
