Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements and cash flow projections to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports with actionable recommendations
- Monitor industry trends and economic indicators affecting portfolio performance
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (FRB, OCC)
- Lead portfolio reviews and identify early warning indicators of potential defaults
- Maintain accurate documentation in our proprietary credit management system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE, or CMB) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling and financial software (Sageworks, Moody's)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, cash flow analysis, and risk metrics
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
