Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to evaluate credit risk
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for commercial loan applications
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to monitor existing credit exposures and mitigate risks
- Develop credit models and recommend pricing strategies for diverse client portfolios
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal credit policies
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
- Present credit recommendations to loan committees with clear rationale
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit software
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or willingness to obtain
- Deep understanding of GAAP, risk management frameworks, and lending regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex credit decisions
- Experience with portfolio risk analysis and stress testing
