Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to determine the creditworthiness of applicants.
- Assess risk factors and prepare comprehensive credit memos and recommendations.
- Monitor existing accounts for early signs of delinquency and recommend appropriate credit limit adjustments.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to develop and refine credit policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the loan management system.
- Communicate findings clearly to internal stakeholders and external partners when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit analysis or commercial lending.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
