Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for commercial loan portfolios
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Monitor existing credit facilities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Utilize provided financial modeling tools to forecast repayment scenarios
- Present credit recommendations to credit committees with clear rationale
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic indicators affecting credit decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Proficiency in financial modeling software (Excel, Bloomberg)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and credit risk principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Validated experience with loan documentation and compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Professional certification (CFA, CRCM) preferred
