Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk mitigation strategies for senior management review
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal credit facilities
- Stay current on regulatory changes affecting credit practices and compliance
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for stress testing scenario analysis
- Present findings and recommendations to credit committees with clear data-driven insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 5+ years of credit analysis experience in commercial banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VBA knowledge and financial modeling skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP, credit underwriting principles, and risk assessment frameworks
- Certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) strongly preferred
