Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements to evaluate applicant creditworthiness and risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for commercial and industrial clients
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure credit facilities aligned with client needs
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify potential risk mitigation opportunities
- Stay current on industry regulations, economic trends, and credit policy updates
- Present credit recommendations to senior leadership with clear rationale
- Develop and maintain robust credit scoring models and underwriting criteria
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Credit certification (CRCM or CCE preferred)
- Deep understanding of cash flow analysis and ratio interpretation
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts
- Experience with lending software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, Fiserv)
